Astrophotography Submission- Ali Hasan

Amateur astronomer and astrophotographer Ali Hasan submitted a few amazing shot’s of the Orion Constellation and the Moon. Ali, a college Sophomore and ufologist located in Boston, Massachusetts, demonstrates the level of work that can be accomplished with just a DSLR camera and steady tripod. No telescope needed!

  • Camera settings in manual mode
  • Aperture: f/3.5
  • Shutter speed: 2″5 (1/100 and high contrast for the Moon)
  • ISO: 1600
  • Image effect: on auto
  • White balance: Daylight
  • Auto image correction: high
  • Self-timer: 10 seconds
  • Image quality: RAW
  • Single frames
